Textend

Start with one real draft.

This guide explains implemented workflows. Public downloading is still in preparation; purchasing and the Pro trial have not opened.

01 / Open your Markdown

After a public installer is available, open a Markdown file or a local folder in Textend, or create a draft in the manuscript library. Start with a copy of one document; no need to import your entire archive.

02 / Write, then inspect the source

Use the writing view for reading and editing, and the source view to inspect Markdown syntax. Both share one document; switching does not create a second manuscript.

03 / Connect your own AI service

In AI settings, enter your chosen service endpoint, model, and API key. Check the provider’s terms and usage prices first. A request may send selected content and relevant document context; review the scope before requesting.

04 / Review suggestions in place

Select a passage and give a clear instruction. Compare the original and suggestion, then accept or keep the original. Applied edits can be undone. You can also discuss without changing your document.

05 / Save and deliver

Save your file and export Markdown, HTML, or PDF as needed. Recovery tools protect your drafts; maintain your own backups too.

One document. Two views.

NOTES / CITY & LIFE

Room for the everyday

The charm of a city is not only found in its new buildings, but also in how much room it leaves for old ways of living.

Notice the details. Then choose what to say.
